the thing everyone asked for, a cup noodle review. or some of them, anyway.

this is actually the best cup noodle i've ever had. tons of toppings, decent noodle block, reasonably tasty soup. the nishimiya style version is even better.

sorry to whoever enjoys these but this is some hot garbage. soup is the bare minimum of flavor and it's all but lost on the noodles, which don't pick up the flavor much if at all. this also doesn't have corn for whatever reason. there's pretty much nothing redeeming here.

this had the barest hint of spice and very little else. it's hard to identify this as chicken flavor. lots of corn though!

definitely tastes like sriracha. not very spicy at all (possibly just not spicy whatsoever). pretty good if you like sriracha, pretty meh if you're not a fan. noodles and veggies are the usual fare. I actually like cup noodle noodles even when I'm not cosplaying as a starving college student, but your mileage may vary.

this... was very bland. decent amount of toppings though. maruchan's chicken flavors are really just not evocative of even chicken bouillon cubes; what are they putting in these?

surprisingly good–better than their "top ramen" beef flavor for some reason. the actual beef is awful and reminds one of dog food. I prefer the lack of peas in these cup noodles, but overall they're extremely light on toppings. pretty sure I got like 5 kernels of corn. soup is surprisingly flavorful but not very complex. noodles are the same as maruchan, so...
